Places to Skate > E&N Trail
Length : 7.5 kmDifficulty : Beginner
Hazards : 7.5 km
The best cruise in town. This trail is best started from the corner of Mostar Road and Hwy 19a. Park in the unused parking lot of the old “The Real Canadian Wholesale Club” Park one car at the Coyote Café and drive back to the start if you don’t want to ride back up the trail. This trail follows an old train track so it has a very moderate decline the whole way (Less than 1%). You might need to push a few times over the flat spots and slight up hills but from Country Club mall down is basically a no push run. There is a fun “bonus” ending to this cruise if you end your run down at the skate park behind the curling rink off of Bowen Road. There is a fun bowl that is worth sessioning! You have to cross train tracks a few times and a few major roads over crosswalks. Be sure to clap a few times when overtaking bikes and pedestrians to let them know you are coming. Come to Switchback Longboards first for secret directions for the alternate start!
