The new Randal R2 125mm trucks provide maximum turnability with maximum speed for their size. The kingpin is reversed to increase the pivot angle but this also allows for more wheel room, reducing the need for many riser pads. 150mm trucks with a 50º base plate tend to turn a little bit tighter making the board quicker to turn and more responsive to rider input.
